John Lewis - Christmas Advert 2011.

I chose this advert because its so sweet and deceiving, Through-out the whole advert you assume the little boy is excited for chirstmas because of all the presents he will receive. When you really see at the end, is that he runs past all his presents and opens his closet to reveal a present for his mum and dad. The music in the background of the advert gives a very touching affect throughout the whole video,because its slow & soothing.
i like this advert because it shows how other children would just be excited to receive they're presents on chirstmas day, but this little boy was more excited to give his parents the first gift he has ever got them.
we see that he waits a long time trying different things to make the day go faster just to get to chirstmas to give his parents the gift he had got them.

Creatures Discomforts - Leonard Cheshire Disability

Advert one;

Advert one shows an animated owl and tells you about its background story .. i.e what wrong with him, it shows how he gets on in life and actually is quite a positive side to the situation, and makes you think good about the whole thing because he tells us that even thought he's not in use of one of his arms and both his legs, he's still in university getting on with life, and theres normal people that can't even be bothered to get out of bed in the mornings. The way they used an animated animal instead of the real person really makes you think different because i know if they saw the real people they would have properly not even watched the advert but its the fact that its cute little animals you just think, ''aww look at the poor little animal''

Monday 28 November 2011

This is a less difficult piece to connotate, as everything you need to know is right there, this does not involve much thinking. As you can see there are angel feathers on the bed, telling you that angels can't resist the smell, and it even possesses them to do some naughty things. If you look at the writing ''EVEN ANGELS WILL FALL'' this suggests that Lynx makes angels weak, and in the actual advert you'll hear a loud thump showing you that for every spray and angel falls. if you look closely at the man, he's normal, he doesn't have super packs or mouth watering looks, This proves further that its just the Lynx. You'll also notice that his bed is not made, showing that these things happened recently.
In this snapshot, you'll again see seven angels. This screen shot shows the power of the angels as they storm towards the man. The Angels look independent,powerful and in control. The background shows a very accent village, not many people around. This particular snapshot is my favourite because i like the shot size and the organisation of it. The angels are all spreaded around so you can clearly see all of them, later on in the advert you see a scene where the angels throw away their halo's showing how they give up there powers and everything just for the scent of Lynx. Although in this snapshot they look like they have full control of everything, that is not the case as they have fallen from heaven down the this village just for the perfume.

LYNX ANGEL ADVERT - ANALYSIS.

In this screen shot, there are five angels crowing around one man. this ordinary man, has attracted all these angels due to his amazing scent (LYNX). In the advert it states ''even angels will fall'', this is telling us that even angels cant resist the smell of lynx, they used angels because there beautiful and better than humans, not only will you attract angels by wearing lynx but you will also attract ANGELS. You can tell that these beautiful woman are angels because of their estraudonary wings, and bright halos.
